Once upon a time in a land far, far away... a man with a dream... and a very messy coffee table... had an epiphany. Here's the story of how the Blazy Susan brand came to be.
What is Blazy Susan?
Blazy Susan is the manufacturer and distributor of world famous, extra functional rolling trays and smoking accessories and one of the fastest-growing smoking accessory brands in the US. We’re best known for our Blazy Susan Spinning Rolling Tray (a fully functional spinning rolling tray designed to organize your smoke space and take back your coffee table) as well as our one-of-a-kind Pink Rolling Papers. Established in Denver, CO, Blazy products can now be found across the globe.
Blazy Susan would not exist without our massive following, so we take pride in giving back to the community. As a brand, we stand for equality and empowerment. Knowing that the community and industry we are a part of is often unfairly judged and criticized, as are its members, we strive to be a glowing example of how to operate and lead the way in this uncharted territory.
The Blazy Susan Story
The Blazy Susan brand was the brainchild of founder and CEO, Will Breakell. Will is a young entrepreneur from Roanoke, Virginia. Although Will graduated from the esteemed Virginia Military Institute, he soon realized that he was meant to take a different path than the majority of his peers. The mountains of Colorado were calling for him, and so was the emerging cannabis industry.
One day, while sitting on his couch looking at his cluttered coffee table, Will had an epiphany; thus, the Blazy Susan Spinning Rolling Tray was born. The original idea was a new twist on the classic lazy susan that at one point was commonly found on dinner tables across the U.S. Rather than spinning salads and casseroles, this lazy susan is designed for your pipes, dab rigs, ashtrays, jars, grinders, papers, or anything else that suits your stoner needs, hence its name - The Blazy Susan!
What began in 2017 as a small company manufacturing spinning trays & organizers has exploded in recent years to include full lines of rolling trays, smoking and dabbing accessories, rolling papers, pre-rolled cones, CBD products, and clothing/merchandise.
Blazy Susan brought pink rolling papers to the market in 2019 to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research when Will’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The papers were a massive success and Blazy has since expanded its foothold in the smoking industry by focusing on quality while remaining true to the community and culture.
A few short years later, and the company has come to be revered by an extremely supportive community of customers and fans. Our customers come from all over the world, from right here in Denver to places like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South America, and Mexico, coming to 22 countries total.
